Caroline celebrated her first real Holiday this past weekend and it was quite exciting. Daddy gave her a Valentine's Card AND gift. In other monumental news mommy got a Valentine's card and gift from daddy too (a first on both counts!) She also got a 'real' Valentine from a little boyfriend too :) Our little friend Aidan sent her a Star Wars valentine and we will definitely hold on to that one!
She went to the doctor about 10 days ago and was declared 'Perfect'...but who didn't know that already? She weighed in at 9lbs. 9oz. (YAY!!) and was the same length as at birth. The doctor also gave me some tips to help Caroline sleep longer at night and she now sleeps for three hours at a time!! Although, I only usually get 2 hours to sleep since she takes at least an hour to go back to sleep but I am doing just fine with it all. On some nights Brad will get up for some of the feedings too and bring her to me and then burp her and change her for me as well-teamwork at it's best! He loves coming home and getting his time with her-and I don't mind handing her over for a few minutes when he arrives :) and they sit and 'talk' and play and are so cute. We are really starting to look and act like a little family now and it's so exciting.
